Why this architecture
I wanted a site that loads fast and can be served from any static host. Next.js renders every page to HTML at build time. Most sections are server components that send no JavaScript; only the interactive parts, such as the project filter, the theme switch and the word game, run in the browser.
Content
All the content lives in one typed TypeScript file, taken from my resume, so a wrong field fails the build instead of reaching the page. Reading the same content from headless WordPress is planned, so that I can edit it in a CMS.
Testing
Vitest covers the word game engine and its term bank, and the TypeScript type check runs as the lint step. I check layout and interaction in a real browser, in light and dark themes and at phone width.
